Challenge:
Andalou Naturals was the #1 skincare brand in the U.S. natural channel, yet it lacked broader brand recognition and had few distinctive brand assets. As the company looked to grow its presence globally, it needed a clear, ownable identity and positioning that could resonate with a wider audience while retaining its natural roots. The challenge was to redefine the brand in a way that was both emotionally engaging and strategically targeted.
Approach:
We began by crafting a new brand strategy centred on Andalou’s unique proposition: Beauty for the Senses. This positioning celebrated the sensory richness of natural beauty, touch, scent, colour, and experience. While also reinforcing the brand’s scientific and ethical credentials. Building on this idea, we developed a refreshed visual identity that was vibrant, modern, and distinctive. From packaging to typography and colour palette, every element was designed to evoke the sensory pleasures of the product experience and to help the brand stand out in a competitive global market. The system was flexible enough to scale internationally while still feeling personal and boutique.
Outcome:
The new brand system gave Andalou Naturals a compelling global platform and a much stronger shelf presence. It helped elevate the brand beyond functional claims, connecting emotionally with consumers through a rich, sensory-driven story, ultimately positioning Andalou Naturals as a premium player in natural beauty.
