Challenge:
In an increasingly saturated landscape of environmental and wildlife charities, Koala Life needed a bold, distinctive brand to cut through the noise. Unlike many organisations in the space, their mission was laser-focused on survival, driven by science, urgency, and action. The challenge was to create a brand that differentiated them while reinforcing the seriousness of their purpose.
Approach:
We developed a single-minded brand built entirely around the idea of survival. Every element of the identity—from tone of voice to typography, colour, and imagery—was designed to communicate urgency and scientific credibility without losing emotional impact.
The result was a distinctive visual and verbal identity system that challenged the softer aesthetic typical of the conservation space. It gave Koala Life a bold, ownable presence that demanded attention.
Outcome:
The new identity helped position Koala Life as a credible and necessary force in wildlife conservation. It stood apart from competitors, attracted new supporters, and gave internal teams the clarity and tools they needed to communicate their mission with conviction.
